Hey guy. Recently, my girlfriends best friend lost her father to an ongoing battle with cancer. I wasn’t fortunate enough to have met him while he was among us but I’ve heard enough about him to know that he was a great man, good husband, and loving father.
He was also a massive gearhead. From what I understand, he was just as obsessed as the rest of us with all things automotive. He wrenched, he coveted, watched TG and dragged his daughter out to a couple races even. I’m sure that wherever he is now, he’s driving something, one hand on the wheel, free arm hanging on the window catching the breeze.
His family is now dealing with their loss and they’ve decided to organize a memorial car show in his honour. All of the proceeds of the event will go to the British Columbia Cancer Agency.
